Event Description
“Climate Policy Is Health Policy: From Global Stocktake to a Green and Healthy Future” was a student-led presentation and discussion event held in Shiyan, Hubei Province, China. The event explored the intersection of climate policy and public health from a medical student perspective, with a focus on global climate governance frameworks such as the Global Stocktake (GST) and the Mitigation Work Programme (MWP). By translating climate science and international policy processes into health-relevant narratives, the session aimed to raise awareness of climate change as a public health issue and to encourage medical students and young participants to engage in climate-health leadership toward a green and prosperous future.
