Event Description

As part of the Global Youth Climate Week, we conducted a one-day interactive workshop titled “Climate × Biodiversity” at Adarsha Saula Yubak Secondary School, Lalitpur Metropolitan City–22, Bagmati, Nepal. In the session, students were introduced to the topics and the link between climate change and biodiversity loss through group sharing, presentations on local and global issues, experience sharing, and a quiz-based learning game.

Participants engaged in discussions and shared how this session increased their awareness of environmental challenges and local impacts. Teachers added that the interactive session increased students' interest in and awareness of the topic. The workshop finally concluded with a joint commitment toward the conservation of local biodiversity and conscious actions toward a sustainable future. The school administration expressed its deepest appreciation for the initiative and supported the smooth execution of the event.
