Event Description
Our upcoming event, titled "Climate x Health: Protecting Well-Being in a Changing World," will be held at an EPP (Public School in Madagascar) to sensitize a class of 47 students about the connections between climate change and health.
We will discuss how rising temperatures, extreme weather events, and shifting ecosystems can lead to health challenges like heat-related illnesses, vector-borne diseases, and respiratory conditions. The session will also highlight practical strategies for adaptation, such as strengthening healthcare systems and promoting awareness.
This event aims to empower participants with knowledge and inspire meaningful actions to protect their health and community against the impacts of climate change.
